Katy Perry dines with Bloomberg in Beverly Hills: report

Katy Perry reportedly shared dinner — and her policy positions — with 2020 presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg at a restaurant in Beverly Hills, Calif., this week.

According to People magazine, the pop star and the former New York mayor dined at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT in the Beverly Wilshire hotel.

Perry, who campaigned for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016, is one of several celebrities with known ties to Bloomberg, who received an endorsement last week from Judy Sheindlin of the show “Judge Judy.”

Bloomberg, a billionaire, has spent millions of dollars on TV advertising after joining the race less than two months ago. He has yet to qualify for Democratic primary debates so far and plans to focus his efforts on Super Tuesday states as opposed to early-voting ones such as Iowa and New Hampshire.

Both Bloomberg and President Trump, a fellow New Yorker, announced this week that their campaigns will be spending $10 million on Super Bowl ads next month.
