McDonald’s Has Extended Breakfast Hours In 115 Restaurants

5

After trialing longer breakfast times in seven of its restaurants, McDonald’s has decided to roll out the extended hours to 115 of its stores.

Thanks to the great people of Portsmouth, where the idea was tested in seven restaurants, breakfast will now be served until 11am instead of 10:30am. Did we ever tell you we love you Portsmouth? Because we do.

And thanks to their late breakfast buying habits, a whole load more of us will now have that extra half hour to get a McMuffin. That’s right, the only hangover curing meal worth talking about is now available for half an hour longer (for some of us).

The majority of stores serving breakfast for longer seem to be down south, which will leave northerners wondering when, or if, they’ll be treated to an extra half hour in bed. A lot of the stores also seem to be in service stations, which I guess makes sense.

And for those of you who have one of the below stores nearby, you’ll be pleased to know that the extended times also apply to Uber Eats. So now you’ll be able to order that way up until 10:45am. This is just good news all round for us all, isn’t it.
