For the second year in a row, the Oscars is going without a host.
ABC Entertainment President Karey Burke said at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Los Angeles that there will be “no traditional host” for next month’s ceremony, Variety reported Wednesday.
Comedian Kevin Hart was originally announced as last year’s Academy Awards host. But after an uproar over anti-gay tweets and comments from his past, Hart stepped down from the high-profile gig.
Last February’s show instead went without an official host for the first time in 30 years.
The 92nd annual Academy Awards airs Feb. 9 on ABC.
