An email blast to media Wednesday meant to tease an appearance by singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis accidentally referred to comedian Jerry Lewis, who died in 2017, as first reported by Page Six.

The email subject line read “Jerry Lewis Returns to New York & Celebrates Pride” and hyped an upcoming appearance on “The Late Show with ” on Thursday night.

The body of the email correctly identified the “Just One of the Guys” singer and noted her upcoming tour dates in Brooklyn and Albany, Page Six reported.

The late comedian, who died at 91, had previously referred to Colbert as “an elitist and a snob” in 2015, according to the publication.
