ABC’s “Roseanne” spinoff, “The Conners,” will go live the night of the New Hampshire primary, incorporating reporting from the network’s news division into the sitcom, Entertainment Tonight reported.
The network made the announcement at a Television Critics Association winter press tour in California on Wednesday.
In the Feb. 11 episode, characters will be watching the coverage of the first 2020 presidential primary, with one working on a school report about the election.
“The rest of the Conners share their differing takes on why they all think everyone should vote, including their working-class perspective that you may have to vote for a candidate you don’t love, but one that will ‘screw you the least,'” ABC reportedly said.
The live show will kick off at 8 p.m. ET the night of the Granite State vote.
